This was the 1st imaging object on my list for this AstroTrip. The Rosette already sets early in the east this time of year so I could only spend a short amount of time on this target.(That also accounts for the not-so-perfect stars as it was really close to the horizon) I’ve never been able to shoot this from my home location due to light pollution so it was worth a try once in dark skies.
I’d like to try and add more DSLR data to this in a few months when the target comes around, try and reduce the noise. But will definitely reshoot this in narrowband.
